The department has state of the art facilities to conduct advanced diagnosis of early oral cancers, complex mucosal treatments and dental care for medically compromised patients.
The department provides diagnostic, therapeutic and follow-up treatment for patients who have oral mucosal lesions, pre-malignant or malignant disorders, autoimmune conditions, infections of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), orofacial problems, and issues with neurological conditions. The diagnostic procedures involves soft tissue biopsies and imaging, which support preventive measures, especially for patients who use tobacco products.
